Looking forward to BeerX – connecting with brewers and supporting growth
At Close Brothers Beverage Finance, BeerX is a highlight in our calendar, and this year is no exception.
BeerX brings together an incredible mix of independent brewers, suppliers, and industry partners, and it’s an invaluable opportunity for us to reconnect with familiar faces while welcoming new ones into Close Brothers. This year, our involvement extends even further: we’re proud to be sponsoring several award categories, including Pale Ale (Keg), Session Lager (Bottle & Can), and UK’s Best Independent Brewery Taproom.
Why BeerX matters to us
For breweries at every stage of their growth journey, access to the right equipment is transformative, whether that’s a new fermentation vessel, upgraded packaging lines, container solutions, expanding production capacity or a pub fit-out. Our team understands the sector and spends much of BeerX talking directly to producers about their operational challenges, ambitions, and the practical steps needed to scale safely and sustainably.
BeerX gives us the ideal environment to have these conversations face-to-face and use the event to listen, share knowledge, and introduce businesses to finance options that can unlock growth without tying up working capital.
No matter the topic - brewhouse expansion or upgrades, new cellar capacity or packaging investments - we’re looking forward to welcoming new conversations. Every brewery’s story is unique, and our role is to help ensure finance isn’t a barrier to progress.
How we work with the industry
Our team supports breweries across the UK and Ireland, offering a range of finance solutions, including hire purchase, finance lease and refinance, which enables producers to invest in:
- Brewhouse vessels and cellar expansion
- Canning, bottling and labelling lines
- Chillers, steam systems, utilities and automation
- Fermentation, bright beer and storage capacity
- Pub improvements and fit-outs
Our sector expertise, combined with longstanding partnerships across the industry, means we understand lead times, installation challenges, supplier relationships and the real-world pressures of production. These insights help us design finance packages tailored to operational needs.
